Built by a data analyst who got tired
of Monday mornings.
At my day job as a Senior Data Analyst at a fintech company, I started a weekly initiative — every Monday, I'd analyze the sales team's prior week, MTD, and QTD numbers and deliver a summary to the VP and managers. I replaced PowerBI dashboards and PowerPoint decks with an AI-generated interactive HTML slide deck. The team saved hours. The VP noticed. That project became Data2Slide.
Who built this
My name is Randy Xia. I'm a CMA-certified accountant turned property financial analyst turned Senior Data Analyst — 8 years of working with the kind of data that has to be presented to someone every week. I hold an M.S. in Data Analytics & Visualization from Yeshiva University.

Alongside my day job, I founded Somerset Web Co. — a freelance web design and development studio. Over the past two years I've also shipped 10+ independent products: AI tools, H5 games, sports news sites, job board directories, and AI image generators. Data2Slide is the one built to solve a problem I face every single week.

Why I built this
Small and mid-sized companies don't have the budget to hire a data analyst, build a data warehouse, or pay for PowerBI and Tableau licenses. But their accountants, HR teams, sales reps, and marketers all have data that needs to be presented — every week, every month, every quarter.
Not everyone can turn raw numbers into a clear data story. Not everyone has two hours to spend on a slide deck that still ends up looking mediocre. As an 8-year data analyst with 2 years of AI product experience, I built Data2Slide to close that gap.
Who it's for
- Sales & operationsWeekly and monthly data reports for management — done before coffee got brewed.
- HRRecruiting metrics and headcount analysis that actually looks good on a screen.
- Finance & accountingQuarterly numbers presented to clients without wrestling with Excel charts.
- Startup foundersTraction slides for investors at $15/month, not $15,000 in design fees.
Why not just use ChatGPT?
ChatGPT can generate HTML. What it can't do is save your deck, let you edit the data inline, auto-save versions, give you a shareable link, scrub a timeline animation, or work with a presenter clicker in a boardroom. I know because I tried — every week, for months — before building something that actually fit a real analyst's workflow.
We sell the workflow, not just the AI.
